Crossing the Alpes - north

You will ride the famous Great Road of the Alpes, a legendary route from north to south, starting from Geneva, on the scenic Leman lake shore, going south to finish by the 21 switchbacks of Alpe d'Huez, like pro riders... Crossing the nice areas of Haute Savoie, Savoie and Isère, the itinerary includs the most beautiful climbs of the Tour de France. Day after day, spectacular and various mountain landscapses for an unforgetable mountain trip.

From 6 to 8 days program. The climbs : cols de Joux Plane, La Colombière, les Aravis, les Saisies, le Cormet de Roselend, L'Iseran (2770 meters), le Galibier (2650m) and Alpe d'Huez. Option by cols de la Madeleine and Croix de Fer instead of Col du Galibier.

A real best of the great 2000m alpin passes.

Mike Tours option

Exclusive detour by the Maurienne valley and Italy : Col du Mont Cenis, following the incredible and unknown passo de la Finestre, 9% gradient average, climb of Sestrières and col de Montgenèvre to ride back to France in Briançon.

Crossing the Alpes - south

Start at Bourg d'Oisans for a 'prologue' on the road of Alpe d'Huez. The route is probably less famous than the north but also awesome. You will climb legends like scenic col Isoard or Vars besides backroads : col de Sarenne, Granon, Turini and Madone upon the hills before the descent to Nice... and the highest paved road in Europe, the col de la Bonnette, 2800meters.

A complete week of challenges from the huge glaciers of Ecrins near Alpe d'Huez to the Meditérannée shores.

Option : 2 extra days in Provence to climb the Mont Ventoux.

Ride around the Mont Blanc

Exclusive and beautiful, the "Tour du Mont Blanc"(TMB) is a 2 or 3 stages mountain ride. Start from Chamonix or Megève in Haute Savoie for a long loop around the highest peak of Europe by a little part of Switzerland and Italy.

The climbs : col des Montets, Forclaz, Grand St Bernard(2473m), petit St Bernard, Cormet de Roselend, and col des Saisies. Total of 200 miles in high altitude crossing 3 countries with splendids view of the Mont Blanc glaciers..

You can choose 2 or 3 stages considering your ability to climb a succession of passes daily. You can choose to ride the opposite loop starting by Col des Saisies and Cormet de Roselend, then Italy, Switzerland and back to France by Forclaz pass and col des Montets for a finish at Chamonix.
